Fabrica

Fabrica is a contemporary art gallery housed in a former Regency church in the centre of Brighton. Our mission is to increase access to and promote understanding of contemporary visual art to as broad an audience as possible.

Fabrica often commissions artists to make new work specific to the gallery space and we run a full range of activities to support our exhibition programme. These include artist talks, screenings, drawing events, schools’ workshops and artists in residence. This programme of activities is designed to enhance visitor experience of both the gallery and the work shown.

Additionally, we provide opportunities for artists to develop their practice and are engaged in an ongoing process of audience development. Over the next two years we are developing a programme of activity with people 70+.

We are currently working on a European-funded project of collaboration with galleries in the South East, Northern France and Belgium.
